Instructions

Step 1

Cut 1.5 pounds of meat into chunks and season with salt, pepper, and spices. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pot and brown the meat on all sides for about 5-7 minutes.

Ingredients for this step:
  • 1.50 pounds meat
  • 2.00 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1.00 teaspoon salt
  • 1.00 teaspoon spices

Step 2

Add 1 chopped onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and vegetables. Cook for 5 minutes until vegetables begin to soften. Add 4 cups of broth or water and bring to a boil.

Step 3

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until meat is very tender. Season to taste and serve hot with rice or bread.
